Paris 2024, an Olympic Village as a Legacy by Emilie

Paris is the French capital and it is located in Europe. It is there that will take place the Olympic Games of 2024, the Olympic village will be located in Seine-Saint-Denis distributed on 51 hectare, located at only 7km of the center of Paris, distributed on the communes of Saint-Denis, the island Saint-Denis and Saint-Ouen. They will be able to benefit from several complete installations and distributed on two zones: a residential zone, around the city of the cinema and an operational zone connected to the road networks (A86, A1).

Paris 2024 aims for a model and ecological Olympic village

Among the requirements of the project, there is the environmental excellence. Builders have been asked to work on a "sustainable" city, and the buildings are built around islands of greenery, designed to cope with longer and more frequent heat waves. Apart from the Olympic object this village is a promise of improvement of life for the people who live there.

The village will be reused after the Olympic Games what has not been the case for some cities that had hosted these games, the athletes left the villages and places of competition have been abandoned some examples: Beijing in 2008 the facilities of the Beijing Olympics had cost about 44 billion dollars to host the competition, a huge sum and crazy for structures whose life has stopped at the end of the tests.

Another example that dates only 6 years the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro that has also been left abandoned only a few months after the games, the facilities had no more use, the state of the place is dramatic.

Conclusion

The Olympics 2024 will be held in Paris, be target an Olympic village model and ecological, which will be reused later .
